This is a rare copy of the Leatherbound Edition - Number 77 of 100 copies - with a further 500 clothbound editions giving a total production of 600 copies. The book was published 10 years after ""Aston Martin The Compleat Car"" and, in effect, brought it up to date. It is intended to be a reference book which tells the story of the company, the production and special bodied cars, pre-war and post-war racing and the differences between the models as they evolved. The book is bound in rich red Morocco leather with foil blocking on the front and spine and Aston Martin blind embossed on the front cover. The book is beautifully presented in a clothbound clamshell box with an Aston Martin plaque on the front bearing the book's title and its Limited Edition Number.
