Joshua, Lucy and Carl were just sixteen and didn’t have a care in the world. Things were soon to change and they would be haunted the rest of their lives. Joshua and Lucy were on their way out to Uncle Charles’s place for the annual Forth of July fireworks. Lucy was driving her new Mustang when suddenly she swerved to miss a young man in the road, lost control and went over the side of the hill. The car was totaled but the two of them, cut and bloodied, survived. The next day Lucy began to have unusual visions. After the second occurrence, Carl suggested that they go back out to where the wreck occurred and look around. Across from the accident area, there was an old cemetery. The three teens went inside and Lucy found the grave markers that she had seen in her vision, a young man and his sister who had been murdered, were buried beside the old tree. Seeing it, Lucy collapsed, but woke shortly, feeling totally relaxed and at peace with the world. They started out of the cemetery and then Joshua felt this feeling of evil envelope him and knew that this event was not finished. Over the next few years, life went on as usual. Lucy and Carl were doing well in college. Lucy was majoring in journalism, Carl in Political Science. Then Joshua decided to enter the army. That night he had his first visit from the evil demon, paralyzing him with fright. This was the first of many visits from this evil being over the next years, up until the death of his wife and two daughters.Returning home, Joshua reunited with Lucy. Comparing events over their lives, they found that both were still haunted. They started an investigation, which brought them to Saint Mary Catholic Church and Father Mark. He had dreamed of the coming of the Chosen One, Joshua, one who was touched by angels and pursed by demons. He had been instructed by the Vatican to report the coming and to help them in the preparation to face this evil being. He brought two special agents from Rome to help Joshua.Their investigation discovered that Carl was the power behind the evil and his friend Watson was also part of it. Watson was the Director of the state’s FBI Agency.Events lead to the final confrontation at Carl’s Governor Mansion, where he was on his way to a Presidential Nomination Committee meeting. The death of two priests and Joshua reveals that Lucy was the Chosen One, one who would lead angels into battle against the hordes of demons that had gathered to support Carl’s rise to power.
