This tall & colorful glazed ceramic vase was designed & produced by Roland Brice in the 1950s in his workshop in Biot, a small town near Vallauris in the south of France. Roland Brice was the former student of Fernand Léger. He became his close friend & his ceramist from 1949, producing lots of art pieces in his Biot workshop until the end of the 1960s, while exploring creations of his own, inspired by Fernand Léger's work.
